- Canopy Piloting Weightbelts -

As of 2010, we now also offer  specially designed CP-Weightbelts

Based upon our successful RW-WeightBelts, we adapted a dual release system, in order to make it acceptable for Canopy-Piloting Competitions.
We maintained that very flat and comfortable design of our RW-WeightBelts, but we are now also capable, to equip the belts with much higher weights.
The weight section in the back has been made with ballistic Cordura^® on the outside, to reduce wear and tear.
Equipped with 2 handles for the LookMa^® Quick-Release-System^TM.
The complete front part (left and right part, incl. the safety buckles) can now be totally separated from the rear part.
These CP-WeightBelt Systems may be used with or without the LookMa^® suspender-system.

The flat profile of this weightbelt, allowes the belt to closely follow the contours of your body and offers extreme comfort and flexibility.
The weightbelt is already prefilled with a fixed weight (to be decided by the customer).
The horizontal channels are filled with 2,0 mm round lead pellets. The six heavy-duty elastic straps on the sides, allow for free movement. These elastic straps have already been in use for many years on our weightvests. The additional removable weight in the back, is connected with our Quick-Attach-System^TM, as used on our weightvests. We equipped the weight channels in the front with closing flaps, so the weightbelt can also be worn outside a jumpsuit.The weightbelt is closed with two separate  3-point safety release buckles.
If the circumference of the user is less than 81 cm, the front will be smaller and w/o weight channels, but with 2 weight pouches. The total weight will be less. Please call for details.
Thanks to the proven LookMa^® Quick-Attach-System, it is possible to quickly remove or install the additional weight in the back.

The following data is required, in order to be able to manufacture your weightbelt:
- Man � :       Women � :       Height: ........... cm;      Weight: ........... kg
- Your circumference at the spot, where you will place your weightbelt:  ........... cm;
                       your circumference 7 cm below  ........... cm and 7 cm above ........... cm;
- min. desired weight: ....... kg and max. desired weight: ....... kg
     (This is extremely important, if you need different weights, than indicated in the price list above)
- specify any other special requirements.

Before shipment, we will adjust the circumference of the weightbelt to your dimensions.
The 3-point safety buckles in the front of the belt, allow for an adjustment of approx. 5 cm (2”). It is also possible to alter the circumference of your belt by adjusting the 3 elastic-straps on each side of the belt.
Please note, that the belt with the weight-tubes can only be used down to a circumference of 81 cm. Any smaller circumferences (down to 69 or 73 cm) need a different belt (Art.# 40518 or Art.# 40519)

In case, that you own already a LookMa® Paraphernalia weightvest, it might be possible to use the weights from your weightvest in your new weightbelt. Then there is no need to buy new weights.

How to use this system:
Put the weightbelt on, together with the suspender system. Then put your rig on. Now open the main buckles of your weightbelt and route the left and right side of the weightbelt over the vertical webbing of your rig. Placing the weightbelt over the vertical webbing of your rig, will make it easier to get rid of the weight system, when needed.
Then slip the female buckles of the suspender system, into the male buckles, which are attached to the attachment loops in the front of your weightbelt and pull the two para-pack protectors over these buckles. The protector prevents any hang-up of the buckles on the rig, while you are trying to separate yourself from the weight system..

This CP-Weightbelt Suspender System may be worn over your clothing, but be aware, that there is a potential risk involved: when you need to use your release- and reserve-handle, you might hold on to the vertical webbing of the suspender system as well, and might not be able to perform the relavant emergency procedures.
Always make sure, as not to gripe into the vertical webbing of the suspender system, while you are handling the release- and reserve handles of your rig!  
You must practice this safety procedure on the ground, before you go up in the air !
